    Excellent value for the money
    The Nuvi 270 offers both U.S. and European maps and the opportunity to update one or the other is included in the price. We have used the device in the U.S.

    very useful in Ireland
    I bought the Nuvi a few weeks ago for use in Ireland. It was much cheaper to buy a portable GPS than rent a car with one installed. Overall it worked very well.

    Garmin

    Lots of GPS for the money

    fanastic
    Bought this specifically because we are going to Italy and this is loaded with European maps. Have not tried those out yet but local maps are great.

    The 270 works just fine in US cities (DC, LA, St Louis, & Boston so far); have not tried it in Europe.

    Best little GPS
    I purchased one of the GARMIN NUVI 270 GPS’s for my wife. Of course I had to test it so that I could “teach” her how it works.
